Putrajaya, 4 August 2026 – Building on the positive market response to the Vanguard 250 since its introduction in January 2025, Aveta Motor Malaysia today announced the expansion of its adventure-touring line-up with two new offerings: the Aveta Vanguard 180 and the Aveta Vanguard 250 Limited Edition.
Ongoing market research and rider feedback highlighted growing demand for a smaller-capacity Vanguard that retains the distinctive proportions, comfort and adventure-inspired character of its larger sibling, while offering more manageable performance and greater accessibility for everyday use.
Developed in response to this demand, the Vanguard 180 welcomes a wider group of riders into the Vanguard family as a practical entry point to the adventure-touring lifestyle. The Vanguard 250 Limited Edition, meanwhile, enhances the established platform with exclusive styling details and a limited production run of 688 individually numbered units.

Vanguard 250 Limited Edition: Exclusivity Within the Vanguard Family
Following the success of the Vanguard 250 and Aveta’s continued engagement with its customers, the Vanguard 250 Limited Edition has been developed in response to riders seeking a more distinctive and exclusive version of the established adventure-touring crossover.
Limited to only 688 individually numbered units, the model has been created for riders who value individuality, premium detailing and the distinction of Limited Edition ownership.
The Vanguard 250 Limited Edition features a sportier handlebar and metal footrests, reinforcing its purposeful touring character and providing a more engaging riding experience. It also introduces an exclusive Limited Edition startup screen on the instrument display, dedicated Limited Edition decals and an individually numbered emblem identifying each motorcycle within the limited production run.
The Vanguard 250 Limited Edition will be offered exclusively in Eclipse Blue and will be available only at Aveta Preferred Dealerships.
Vanguard 180 – An Accessible Entry into Adventure Touring
Welcoming a new generation of riders into the Vanguard family, the Vanguard 180 brings the adventure-inspired design, upright riding position and touring practicality of its larger-capacity sibling into a more accessible and manageable package.
Positioned as an Adventure Touring Crossover, or ATC, the Vanguard 180 is designed to bridge the gap between everyday urban mobility and leisure touring. It’s smaller-capacity configuration makes the Vanguard experience more approachable for riders entering the adventure-touring segment or upgrading from a smaller motorcycle.
Powered by a 174cc liquid-cooled engine paired with an automatic CVT transmission, the Vanguard 180 delivers manageable performance for city travel, highway journeys and weekend rides. Its upright riding position, 780mm seat height, adjustable rear suspension and 140mm ground clearance provide greater comfort and rider confidence across urban roads, uneven surfaces, gravel roads and other light off-road routes.
Safety, connectivity and everyday convenience are further supported by an Anti-lock Braking System, Traction Control System, seven-inch TFT touchscreen display, integrated front dash camera, smart keyless operation and USB Type-A and Type-C charging ports.
Developed for urban and suburban commuters, first-time motorcycle upgraders and weekend leisure riders, the Vanguard 180 offers a practical step into adventure-oriented motorcycling. Its combination of everyday usability, manageable performance and larger motorcycle proportions provides riders with the versatility required for weekday commuting, highway travel, breakfast rides and short-distance touring.
The Vanguard 180 is available in Gray Sandstone and Neon Terrain, while the Explorer Pack variant is offered exclusively in Frost White and comes equipped with a specially designed 46-litre top box and protective crash bars to further enhance its touring capability and practicality. Both variants are now available through authorised Aveta dealerships nationwide.
